We are a fast-growing startup seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Development Manager to join our team.
Salary: $98,000 to $150,000 (Compensation is based upon location, education and experience)
Responsibilities:
- Identify and Build Partnerships:
- Develop relationships with entrepreneurs, small business owners, and creators who could benefit from our platform.
- Forge partnerships with accelerators, incubators, business organizations, and influencers.
- Drive User Acquisition:
- Develop and execute strategies to onboard new businesses and campaigns.
- Analyze user acquisition data and optimize strategies for growth.
- Develop Growth Strategies:
- Research market trends and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance user experience and engagement.
- Represent the Brand:
- Attend industry events, pitch competitions, and trade shows to promote the platform.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company in business meetings and webinars.
- Track and Report Metrics:
- Set and achieve monthly and quarterly growth goals.
- Report on partnership performance, new user sign-ups, and other key business metrics.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience: 2+ years in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in the tech, startup, or crowdfunding space.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/partnership goals.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) NOT REQUIRED
